These earrings are made with clear forwings of a Blushing Phantom

The wing i chose for this piece is a Madagascan Sunset Moth which is so colorful as it has the colors of the rainbow within its iridescent scales

The butterfly flashes from grey to ivory to purple and pink has beautiful eye spots and dark markings

Madgascan Sunset Moth Earrings, Green and Black Moth Earrings nature earrings Comes on 18" black cottonThese handcrafted earrings were created by me in my studio in London Ontario Canada. The wings are repurposed from a damaged specimen of a Madagascan Sunset Moth. These represent the forewings a d are laminated with a special cooling process to avoid burning the wings. I accented them with pale green glass beads and set them on surgical steel ear wires, perfect for sensitive ears. This specimen has been purchased from a licensed supplier in Ontario
