There is less color in this 2011 (I popped a bottle of the 2010 for comparison) and more notes reminiscent of Cabernet Franc (Alejandro Vigil harvested even earlier in 2010)
An extremely ripe yet still fresh nose puts on display notes of mocha and liqueur-like red cherry aromas that are nuanced by spice and earth hints

Graphite, dried herbs, lavender, menthol and licorice all build in this structured, cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon from Kia Behnia and Tracy Borman. I can't wait to see how it ages.
