Henri Giraud, Fut de Chene MV Rose Brut other_regionsBased on the 2018 vintage, the NV A Grand Cru Ft de Chne Brut MV Ros reveals enticing aromas of pastry, peony, red berries, blood orange and menthol. Medium to full bodied, it is both elegant and elegantly tannic, with a layered and tense structure supported by bright acidity and a long, ethereal finish. This blend consists of 80% Pinot Noir (with 6% as red wine) and 20% Chardonnay, and it was disgorged in February 2023.

There is excellent volume to the sappy and palate coating medium-bodied flavors that exude ample minerality on the dusty and ever-so-mildly dry finish that my score assumes will age out as it’s likely related to the February bottling

although it's super young to start and tightens up even further

offering concentrated cassis and cherry compote flavors accented by exotic allspice and black cardamom nuances

its viscous texture
