It's a limited edition snare drum from their annual BlaQ Friday sale. This is a beautiful snare, sonically and visually. Steel has such beautiful and unique overtones. The maple re rings is my favourite feature of Q Drum Co.; they warm up the sound. It is great in all tuning ranges, from high cranked to low thuddy (which is my favorite sound). The brass hoops also give the drum a solid, vintage
