The saucer and tea cup are magnificently decorated in the rare derby posies pattern which displays a multi-colour variety of floral bouquets against a white background with gold trim

The pattern has a soft blue colour in the center of the tea plate and saucer as well as on the bottom of the cup

The item is a silver plated claw tong for ice with a linear etched handle design

each decorated with deep red

The tin was manufactured for a sewing kit and though it has contents, we doubt it is the original as mentioned on the tin, being Thistle brand spool cotton. The tin is marked all round. The tin is in good all round condition, with no damages noted. Length: 9. 5 cm, Width: 7. 2 cm, Height: 3. 8 cm
