The album was released on October 27, 1997 and certified Platinum by the RIAA on January 22, 1999 for one million copies sold. Shepherd's second studio effort produced the hit "Blue On Black", which went to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. The album itself rose as high as #74.
