Large Hazel Catkins Surface engraved with a studyThis spring the Hazel Catkins have had a splendid year with thousands of blooms dancing in the wind on the roadside and hedgerows here in the North York Moors. Catkins are the male flowers of the Hazel tree, and each tail is made up of hundreds of tiny individual flowers full of yellow pollen.
